Default PROBLEM RAM!!!!!!

Has anyone any ideas? I put the engine back in my 1500, 360, 4x4, i had a bad miss fire, so i checked the plug wires like a couple of you suggested. However, i never removed the wires so never thought they should have caused a problem. However, upon checking them with the manual, the wires were not in the correct place to start with. But it ran before i removed the engine. So anyways i put the wires into the cap like the manual diagram shows, now it'll run for about 10/15 seconds the cut out. Then you have to crank it over again for ages and it'll run again for another 10/15 seconds. This is really starting to frustrate me. If anyone can help, i would really appreciate it.thanks

Did you move the distributor? I had the same trouble with mine yesterday, it would run good for about 5-10 seconds then die but if I kept it running using the throttle it would backfire. Later.

If your wires were off and now there correct than your dist may have to be moved. Loosen the dist bolt and start the motor. Move it to where it stays running. The computer will take over from there. Remember, the Magnum motors have a different wire layout than the older LA motors.
