Well, after some really depressing listings and REALLY insulting offers of "Its only worth $4000" or "I'll trade you my Ford Ranger for it" it looks like I am gonna HAVE to keep my '98 Ram..... already spent over $200 in advertising, not gonan drop anymore...
I guess now, Its back to putting the APline back in, the IPF lights back on etc.... at least its REALLY cleanly detailed right now

Guess will have ot see about a few more upgrades,if I'm stuck with it, might as well get it over with...
3.55's now, at least 4:10's, maybe 4:56's since it got Overdrive, maybe go from the 33's to 35's (if i get 4:56's) get a few things touched up paintwise.... might even decide to two tone it silver on the bottom and lose the SPORT look... who knows...

 

what is going to happen with that getting fined for an extra vehicle deal?

 

Am going to have to try and sell the car pretty fast now.... it needs paint, but, I figure $1200 and it passes inspection isnt bad for a 93 Dodge shadow v6 auto car with sunroof...

 

I owned a Dodge Shadow convertible once. One of the worst experiences ever. Mysterious electrical problems is why I dumped it. It suffered from the intermittant Speedo/Tach that would work and then not work, for starters. The 4-banger in it was peppy, and I used to give it a run for its money driving I-44 thruogh Missouri.

 

only worth 4000$ and someone offered to trade a Ford Ranger for it? Thats Ridiculous! I drove through one of the dealerships here the other day looking at used CTD's and I saw a couple of 04' and 05' 1500's for about the same price as I paid for my 01. I couldnt beleive it.

 

Sorry to hear the dodge shadow was the worst experience ever for you. I had my '90 dodge shadow for 12 yrs and it a trouble free car for me. Ya, I did suffer from the intermittant speedo/tach problem after 90,000 miles but the car lasted for around 150,000 miles for on the original clutch. Now that is impressive, since I use to race that thing at the local cruising strip back then (hwy 100). Man i sure miss that car, even had it on the Road America race track back in 2001.....even tho I cooked the drivers front brake line after I got off the track.

Back to the topic, I think in the long run you'll be glad you kept the truck MDoffroad. I dont know what I would do without my Ram.

Its wild, the DAY I decide to keep it.. I come out ot find a rear tire slashed, in front of the house.... side was was screwed up,, ran some rusty bolts throught he hole, looks like road damage to me!!! Pepboys said,sure its under road hazzard, it was obviously damaged whiel driving.. so they prorate it, 11/32 out of the original 16/32's.... new tire would be $106, ended up costing me $88!!!!!!!!!! I was BENT... but, anywayz..
today,get 2 (first two) calls on the truck for just under 8 grand.... I guess I will show it, if it leaves for thatprice... so be it.......... strange strange life...

 

sad to hear man.. but a 98 for 4k, thats unreal.. i bought my 99 for 16k.. but thats because where I live its highway robbery or nothing.
