Default Trailer hitch

Is it safe to turn a drop hitch upside down, or am I better off to buy a new one w/o a drop? Towing a small u-haul, less than 2k lbs, but the shape of the toung puts the trailer at an unlevel ange w/drop hitch. Thanks!!

How much of a drop is it?

Most drop receivers are designed to be installed as a "drop" hitch or a "rise" hitch. I know all of the Reese line is designed for it. Not sure what kind you have. I'm guessing it doesn't have a label on it anymore?

if it looks like this or very similiar, it can be a drop or rise hitch, like rom said. you should have no problems flipping.

Thanks for the advise. I believe it is a Reese, seems to be working fine. Thanks again!
