Default New guy here

I have a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd 5.2l
Only thing done to it is exhaust, it has a flowmaster on it.
Looking for things to do to it to help the performance of the truck. I know I should do a search and fixing to do that, just thought I would introduce me......................

hey welcome to the forum! when you do your search you'll find the same suggestions from just about anyone for upgrades, CAI, throttle body, PPIII, high flow cat, maybe some headers. I'm sure some other guys will chime in with what i missed.

throttle body spacer!!! WOOT BEST MOD EVER!!!!

if you have a carb....

seriously though stay away from them. worthless pieces of junk. the only good they do is if you get a body lift and need to get some more clearance for your cold air intake.

welcome to DF...

the PPIII will not work since his truck is an obd1 truck... but this will...

50mm TB (for 318)
1.7 crower roller rockers
K&N FIPK II intake kit
gibson headers
and a modded intake manifold...
heavey duty heads or r/t's (stock ones crack)

jet chips dont seem to work well and the TB spacer is a good paper weight (unless your doing a body lift).

Ok thanks guys, that's preety much what I have seen searching through the archives. I was mostly wanting to introduce myself.

I got a list now of things to do. The heads and rockers I probly wont be able to do for a while but headers maybe the first to do. I have to do vacation first before messing with the truck.

Modded intake, is that just the aluminum plate that goes between the plenum or is there more to the intake modding?
