Default rancho shocks

i have a shocl question. i just put ranchos on the back of my ram quad cab. the new shocks didnt come with new bolts so i reused to old ones. now i have a clunking sound under there so last week i go under and take a look and it seems the new shocks holes are bigger than the bolts so now they clunck around in the bracket. anyone else had this problem? are the new shocks supposed to come with new hardware?. whats the deal with this?.

the PO may have swapped hardware for some reason... the bolts should fit fairly snug in the mounting brackets of the shock. compare them against another dodge's setup (wrecking yard) to be sure.

I put trailmasters on my 99....They came with 2 different size inserts..one for metric bolts and one for SAE...my left front clunked for a week before i figured it out
