spings and shock size
I want to put 2500 coils in my 1500 for i little bit of extra hight...... will the shocks need to be replaced? will the break lines need to be lengthend? what else needs to be done, or is it just a simple swap?

Nope...no spring compressor needed.
There's two ways to do this. I've never done either. One is to follow the service manual, which seems to require you removing a lot of things.
The other is to follow this write-up: http://ramchargercentral.com/index.p...owtoshow;id=28 which is what I'd definitely do if I were installing springs.
Good Luck!

Yup, it's a pretty simple swap, and if you use springs out af a V10 or a diesel 2500, you will see between 2 to 2.5 inches of lift. Just know ahead of time that it will also stiffen up your ride in the front with those springs. Stock shocks will work fine with around 2" of lift, unless you wheel alot, then you might want to consider a shock for 1"-3" of lift. Everything else will be fine. Post pics!!
hey rogerdoger....i have a set of OE#038 springs that are for 3/4 ton trucks, they are about 3 weeks old and have about 500 miles on them. They gave me about 1 1/2 of lift and the ride is a little stiffer but not extreme....band new from the dealer the two springs cost $240 dollars....if you would like them I'll sell these to you for 120 or best offer...let me know
