Default paint

I have a 95 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and the cab hood is chipping of paint something fierce its basically down to the metal on the whole top side and know the hood and fenders are doing the same is anyone out there having this promblem and is there anything dodge is doing to replace the bad spots? or im i on my own ?

Oh, you're very much on your own. They only warranty paint for 3-5 years

Mine is peeling in a few spots. One on the fender...one on the back of the cab...and a few on the box. Mine is just grey factory epoxy primer showing through though, and that primer is some tough stuff.

take it to a body shop they can respray factory colors for couple bucks. probably in the 100-200 range..

yea that kinda what i was thinking but i may just spray a sealer on it for now since its down to the metal and completly re spray in a few months when my dad spray booth is complete
