I am going to put a roll pan on my 97 sport. What I am looking for is a trailer hitch that will have the receiver mount behind where the license plate resides.

Basically I want to cut a square hole behind my plate. When I am towing I will fold the plate down or up and slide the drawbar into the hitch. The chains will go under the roll pan and hook onto the hitch.

Has anyone ever seen or know where to purchase one of these?

 

Call sir michaels out of california at www.sirmichaels.com .They sell the hidden reese hitches for roll pans. I bought a roll pan for my 01.It needed some modifications but it looks good and i also got the hidden hitch as well.Just flip up the plate and pull the receiver.And your spare tire isnt going to be a problem as well...
