Default RE: front end noises

I just rebuilt my front end and there were 3 areas that gave me the annoying clunk. the shock mounts, the swaybar endlinks, and believe it or not the shift linkage. I still get a clunk once in while but I think it's the endlinks. It's a 2wd so I'm sure it's way different. My problem is the 3 inch coil lift changes the angle of the sway bar links and the bushings don't want to stay centered, I think.

I was amazed at how the shift linkage clunk sounded like it was coming from the front suspension, might be worth looking at. And the shock mounts. Just my 2 cents, I'm sure some better qualified 4x4 guys will chime in.

I had the same thing and it ended up being the front drive shaft, the slip joint is loose and clunks over small bumps.
