Default Restoring Black Trim

Hey guys. My black trim (top of bumpers, side mirrors, door handles etc.) is sorta faded and I can't fix it to save my life. I've tried Armor All and Formula 2001 with almost no results. I recently tried Mothers "Back to Black", and it did the trick, but dirt stuck to it. Then when it rained, the stuff streaked real bad and looked terrible. Anybody got any secrets?

I sprayed this cheap foam tire cleaner on my bed liner once and it made it a nice black color again.

I had the same problem with mine. What i found worked was on a nice hot sunny day use the mothers back to black. LEt it sit in the sun and dry and soak in. Then a couple hours later armor all the **** out of it. It basically puts a protective coat over the back to black. Still holding up wonderfully.

I work at a detaling shop and the thing that I use on my ram is called "shine it" it's made by a company called Malco. It works on plastic, rubber, and it works awesome too.

My son had some sturborn fading spots & clay dirt stains on his bumper that would not come off.
I tested a small area by spraying carb cleaner on a rag & wiping. It removes the faded dead surface and leaves it nice & black. Treated immediatly with armor-all. Looks almost new now.
Cleaner is extrememly strong & can do damage if not careful. Not effective if not treated immediately with a good protectant. I would call it a worse case, nothing else works scenario.
