Default A spark plug question

Hey guys. I recently swapped out the plugs and wires on my 96 360 and it isn't running right. I want to check my wiring to make sure I'm right. Can someone please tell me how the cylinders are numbered and where their located such as where's number 1 and ssuch?

Study this TSB and the pictures VERY carefully.

Pay particular attention to the passenger side
and how the plug wires for 6 & 8
are so easy to reverse

If 6 and 8 are reversed the engine will run at idle but act really sick with more throttle.

^ True. I've heard some people have problems because they mis-routed the wires.
