I know this will probablly be sent to OT, but I wanted to let you guys know first, if you have been watching the news latley, you may have noticed that there was a problem with a cruise ship called Crown Princess.

You may also notice that I havnt been around for a few days

well thats b/c my unlucky *** went on my honeymoon on that dumb boat....

anyway,,, I was just curious if any other DF member was aboard as well... some 3000 people were aboard.

me and the wife are safe and not injured, but its infortunate for the other 94 people that were injured...

 

ive been watchin all this stuff about israel, so i missed this cruise ship thing...... what happened with the ship? and happy honeymoon..... did you just get married? or was it a delayed honeymoon?

Ive heard about how big this ship is so to hear that it turned on its side must have been freaky.

we flew into JFK in NYC earlier today and picked up the jeep at the ship peir in brooklyn and drove home.. got in this eveneing... actually drove through jersey... up though jersey city and newark.. on I280 and I80

 

i dont get it..... did it flip ALL the way over? anyways glad to hear your alright.......


ok nvm just watched the video in that link, it said it tilted extremely sharpley but didnt flip all the way..... again, glad your ok

the ship didnt flip all the way over... but it did tilt really bad..

in this pic i posted you can see how big the ship is.. 951 ft long and 116000 tons.. friggin huge... i took this pic from the a small boat we were on when we went reef snorkling in Grand Turk .. turks and cacos islands.. if you notice the orange things on the side..those are the life boats..,. the open space directly under neath those life boats took on some water ... thats how bad it listed over... total of 240 injuries... 94 of them had to go to the local hospitals in port canveral FL 3 serious criticall had to be medivaced...

the only plus out of the deal is that we are getting a full refund.. free honey moon.. either way i would have ratherd no one get hurt and this event never happen.
