brake light problem
check the wiring behind your brake light cover and see if you can find any wires in bad shape i.e. knicked insulation bad connection...also have you replaced the bulb recenlty if so did you make sure you got the proper bulb to replace it with. Other than that could be a grounding issue. Also what size fuse does your fuse schematic call for...are you putting the properly rated fuse in?
it calls for a 15 so when it blew i put another 15 in and it blew so then i put a 20 in and it blew that so i took the brake light out and there was a **** load of sand and dirt so i cleaned it out and was still blowing fuses
if it is not a ground fault problem such as a wire that is touching your chassis and blowing the fuse it could be any number of things. Is it the ABS fuse or just the fuse for the brake lights themselves. Is it tied in with anything else like interior lights or anything like that?
It could be that you have a knicked wire somewhere under your truck doing this, or you could be getting a power surge from somewhere else
have you had any work done to it lately that would have required removing your brake light or running of some wires...anything like that.
