hello everyone, i just got a 95 dodge ram, the oddommeter just rolled over 199xxx miles. i traded a 90 jeep for this very clean truck. how long can the engine and tranny last with this many miles on it? thanks in advance for any help.

That depends on several factors, the most important being how well the former owner(s) took care of the truck as far as regular maintenance, and not abusing it by excessive loading, towing, etc. Did you get a service record with the vehicle?

Many vehicles can go 250,000 miles or more with no problems.

yes i got a service record, and the truck has been well maintained with all required service done by the factory. the engine bay and engine itself is very clean, and runs very strong and true. thanks.
