Performace PCM Flash options
Hoping to get some feedback from others as to some options in obtaining a performance PCM flash for my 2001 Ram 4X4 1500 with a performance 360 engine, aftermarket torque converter, headers, fastman throttle body, ported intake, Flowmaster cat back exhaust, and K&N FIPK CAI.
My truck is mainly used for day to day driving and towing. RPM's seldom get above 3500 and are usually between 2000 and 2600.
Thanks.

One option is to go with a flash from B&G. Call Dan the Fastman. He has a working relationship with B&G, and can get you a discount on the flash. He also has a lot of recommendations as to which flash to get, depending on your mods and what you plan to do in the future. Keep in mind that some of the B&G flashes do not include diagnostics, so you will lose the ability to store codes and have your CEL come on (so i've been told), and some people reported that they needed to have the flash redone because it was not correct the first time.
Other option is to call KRC and they can hook you up with their flash and FAST system.
Lastly, Split Second has the PSC1 programmable calibrator system that lets you program settings into your PCM yourself via laptop. That way you can dial it in as you like it rather then relying on a generic flash from B&G or KRC. It also allows you to make changes as you do additional mods instead of having to buy another flash (at $400 a pop).
