I agree. There is a snap ring on the back side of the hub and it did look as though it is possible to replace the bearing and the cup assembly. I didn't mess with it mostly because I don't have a press to either remove or install a new cup if that's what it takes. I may end up looking into it, if it will end up saving me some money down the road.

 

on my 2wd stealership wanted $145 for entire hub assembly. autozone adn O'rielly's said it wasnt availbel to them yet. So i went to wrecking yard got one for $45. That was 10,000 miles ago.

 

idk if theres one by you but i got mine at carquest. it was like 259 or something but i came with a 2 year warranty. i would rather have the warranty since my truck will go throw about a hub a year.

 

I dont know guys but as you can imagine i go through those assemblies quite often, i have got one at auto zone for 169.99 but Carquest has them for 150 around there, i dont know i never paid more than like 185 for those things, wonder why yalls is so expensive, [&:]
