Default "no buss" problem, need help!!!

a couple weeks ago i purchased a 2001 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9 magnum and an automatic transmission. about i week later i was driving and the vehicle jsut shut off. when i tried to restart it, the engine would swing but it would not start. i then noticed a message where the odometer is that said "no buss". none of the guages worked when i was trying to get it restarted. finally managed to get it started again, and had no problems until about a week later, when it became a frequent occurance. i'd be driving and the engine would jsut shut off and all the gauges would die, this happens at highway speeds as well as when i might be stopped at an intersection. there are two things that ive noticed. one, the problem only occurs when the engine is already warmed up, and two, when u try to start, if the gauges dont register, the vehicle will not start. i dont live in the u.s and we dont have a dodge dealership, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site. Since you're new here I'll give you some tips. Go to the thread listed in the following link.

https://dodgeforum.com/m_340929/tm.htm

In the first post, click neonix.org link and download the service manual. Although, if you are on dial-up connection, it will take a long time to download. You should be able to find the answer to your question. I don't have time to look the answer up for you right now, but you should be able to find it in the manual. Good luck.

Oh, and by the way, I'm proud of you for testing out the truck right after you bought it. Just remember, you're never stuck until you run out of gas.
