They are both pretty similar. The paint on the Skyjacker shocks seem to rust out after a year or so. Are the Rancho shocks any better?

Run it without one. If the steering system is good then there is no need for one. All it does is hide steering problems.

I ran my truck without one for 3 years.

Id put the monet somewhere else

I have to agree with God Ram It, I put one on my 2wd drive because it's lifted and I go off road for work only. But all it seemed to do was (hide) my other steering problems. I should have spent a little more and replaced some of my steering linkage.

Chalk it up as a mistake, but it looks nice. At least it didn't cost me too much. The only one available for my truck was from Fabtech.

if your going to get one i will have to stand behind SKYJACKER, they have alworked never broke down shocks or stabilizers, i know ALOT of people wo take there trucks and broncos through nothing but mudbogs, most of them just go through the pit then park it on the trailer get home and unhook the trailer and leave it sit caked in mud until next months mud bog, Never have i heard or seen them fail, And i have taken one off that the boot was filled and packed full of mud and still functioned proper
