code 31

While driving tody my check engine light came on. When I got home I turn the key on and off to see what would come up. I got a code 31. What does this mean anything serious how can i check or fix it?

i turned the key on and off 5 times and it binked 3 times paused and 3 more times then the usual 55 thats how i got it to be a 33
