Default Smooth riding ram

Anything I can do to my ram to make it ride smoother? I know the suspension is stiff because its set up for towing...but since the baby, my wife and kid have a new need for a smoother ride. any suggestions/ideas that arent too expensive?

Thats a good question, we havent talked about shocks in awhile, a popular choice on here is the Ranch RS5000, but let everyone chime in, I am kinda curious myself.

I have Gabriel Gas Ryders on my truck...which also has one of the stiffest suspension packages put in the 2nd gens I've had quite a few people tell me that my truck rides better than most 1/2 tons. Nuff said there

reduce some of the air pressure out of your tires. They may wear a little faster but it does allow for a little softer ride

you could also can maybe get away with taking a leaf out but then your truck might sit alittle low in the rear. other then that i would get some good shocks and lower the air like already said.

keep it stock, dont lift it and dont drop it any with after market drops and lifts, makes it really stiff, I have always thought that the skyjacker hydro 7000 was perty smooth, It is more for the road than the nitro they offer, just a thought though
