Default Shock absorbers

I have 1996 1500 ram ex-cab sport 5.9l 4 x 2 . I have 135k miles on it. I want to change shocks, because I hear you're suppose to change them about every 50k miles. mine are original. I want to try Monroe Reflex shocks. I am not sure what to expect or if I am going to notice any difference. thanks...for any oppinions...

I just put Monroe Reflex shocks all the way around on my '97 1500 (2wd). It has 105,000 and still had the oringinals on it. The difference is phenominal. Doesn't lean as much on turns or nose dive on stops; gives a nice ride. I tried to put the Monroe Load Adjust shocks on the rear, but the Flowmaster catback system didn't leave enough room for the springs. It was a pretty easy job, and definitely worth the money and effort. Oh, start a day or two before and soak the bolts with a good penetrating oil.
