They charge 30 for shipping so they make more money. They make money knowing it will be $10 to ship, and it's that much less to Ebay/Paypal.

If you move a lot of product, it's a good money maker.

And everyting is all about money these days. Most of America would sell their soul for a million dollars.

Good luck.

Nice truck.

Every 2nd gen I've seen pics and on the road all have black bumpers. Mine is the only one I've seen that has a gray one, but it does have some black marks on it could it just have been from REALLY bad sun fading or some chemicals? Its weird tho because when my bumper gets wet, it turns black, just like every other 2nd gen I've seen. The spots on it now are just water spots.

I don't think I've ever seen a gray bumper. The bottom bumper cover was grey before I painted it, but I can't remember ever seeing the top cover gray.

I think the sun turns them gray. Mine's gray ... used to be black. There's supposed to some product ... either Mothers or Meguiers(sp) that restores plastic to it's former black state.

Mothers® Back-to-Black® is the stuff I was thinking of. I'm gonna try to find some. My bumper cover looks like crap.

it is my recomendation not to use the back to black stuff. it does make it blacker, but its hard to get it even, and in my opinion, it makes it look worse than when grey. Dad tried it on is 98, then just ended up getting the new black plastic piece to replace it cuz it looked so bad. Thats why his 04 is so nice, they actually paint that thing (whatever its called) to the body color on some models. Someone should try that and see how it looks!

whos going to be the guinea pig??

and Bill, i think yours looks better grey since you have the silver truck, and the grey is on lower portion of bumper anyway! I like it at least....
