i called the dealership and i told them my truck was running very bad and that i was researcing
on the enternet and told them that a dealer may have did a software update on the pcm to retard the timeing and he knew what i was talking bout and he said to bring it over and if that is all it is it will cost 75 to get it off is he gunna screw me or will he take it off just wondering

 

im sure he's not going to screw you over. if it does have death flash and he removes it you should feel a huge difference in performance.

my truck had the death flash on it when I bought it, I spoke to a guy at the stealership about it and he never mentioned anything about them reflashing it back to normal, but told me to get the Hypertech or Superchips programmers.. total night and day difference, my gas mileage went up to where it should've been, and my little 318 has enough ***** now to hang with my boys' 2000 with the 5.9
