Hey guys, I was wondering where you all buy your parts for your trucks. I"m looking for both an upper and lower door hinge assembly for the driver's side door on my '97 ram 1500, but I can't figure out where to get them. my first instinct was a junkard but the one near me doesn't even have any 2nd gen dodge trucks, any ideas?

Hmm I dunno I was gonna suggest the junk yard, where I got mine

 

Makeitmopar.com lists the upper hinge for $38 and the lower hinge for $24. They say the upper hinge is for 94-02 years, and the lower hinge is for 96-99.
Other than that, all I can suggest is look for differant junk yards.

 

hey thanks. i'll check around for some other junk yards, but if i can't find any at least i know i'll be able to buy the replacement from there. i'm a new dodge truck owner, so if anyone else has a place where they get their parts from please let me know.

 

if nothing works out..and i am hesitant to say this... you could price out the local dealer.. obviously be retarded more expensive but if you need them like yesterday.. then thats another option
