dude can you get me a pic of the pitman arm. so your saying on a 2wd pitman arm theres some sort of ball joint in the end of it. im totally not understanding that at all. i looked in the manual and it looks like it has i tie rod end just like the 4wd. im confussed as hell now.[sm=confused06.gif]

holy crap [sm=sorry.gif], your right. so it looks like this one? i still dont understand why the would have made that like that but ok.

dude thast so wierd.. damn us backyard retard idiot redneck moron mechanics!!!!! (no meaning towards wbholley and livinginh, just a joke for tani)

man i guess you learn something new everyday... im glad i havnt had to work on a 2WD yet.. id be scratching my head and picking my butt wondering what the hell that is and what to do. lol

good to know though!

and that cutting method i explained actually works really well..just gotta be carefull if your reusing your original box, and obviously if your installing a new box it would matter... just leave it on and off comes the box... also if your reusing the same box,,, carefull of the heat generated from the cutting... if that shaft gets warm enough from the heat transfer... thiers a seal around the shaft up inside the housing of the box that likes to melt really easly.. and that will also give you a bad day!

Try heat. Then use a pitman arm puller.

Good luck.
