My dads friend has a pair of Hadleys on his silverado 3500 duramax diesel. His truck has marker lights and he put a visor on it, it looks awesome and sounds even better, I would say they are the same loudness as a train. I've seen em for around $500 someplace. I'll get a pic up next time he comes around.

Yeah, but what arguement am I going to use to convince the wife that I NEED them?

The "they'll pay for themselves in two months" story has just about played itself out in my household. [>:]

Bill Your just making your truck safer for all the kids in the neighbourhood. You know you wouldn't want to run anyone over because they didn't couldn't hear you were coming.

the headers on the truck are known to produce alot of heat and are known to crack the rear piston head causing thousands of dollars in repairs to the motor and about 2 weeks down time on the truck. i would get some headers on that thing asap

You know what ... you're absolutely right ... I NEED a 155db air horn because what if (God forbid) my 9 year old factory unit fails at the wrong time or one of the precious dears (playing in ... the ... STREET!!!) is handy-capable and can't quite hear the, at any other time, adequate horn or, somehow, can't see 3+ tons of rolling steel coming right AT THEM!

You make a good point.

She'll say, "Phhhtttt!" [>:]

I'll Say,"D'OH!" [:@]
