Default autolite 3923 plugs

I am thinking of using the autolite 3923 plugs on my stock 5.2. Is there any concerns I should have because this plug is a colder one than stock. Truck is driven highway miles and speeds only. I have heard this is a good plug for the magnums but just wanted to make sure no other modification would be needed. FYI... considering duralast wires and new wells dist. cap and rotor.

You don't really have the mods to warrant a cooler spark plug [&:] especially if all you do is highway driving. It wouldn't be beneficial to the motor at all.

Having worked at Autozone stay away from Duralast crap. You are way better off getting your cap and rotor (with brass terminals and duralast gold parts are the only way to get that which arent that good no matter what they say). Go to Oriellys and just make sure the terminals are brass. If you want good plugs go with NGK that is what I am going to switch to pretty soon. For wires I love the Accels that I have. They are the 9mm ones and Autozone has those, you have to build them yourself though. Good luck.

these plugs are generally used to help ping problems in the motors withc is very common... if you arnt experiencing any problems with ping/spark knock/detonation then you should need them.. id run regular autolights or champion truck plugs if my motor didnt ping on 87 octane
