Default exhaust ?

hey everyone i read on here that someone had this exhaust on a 360 dodge but i have a 318 with a gutted cat would this sound good on my truck.

it would sound fine, the only thing is if your running it like that why wouldnt you just run them into one muffler. it would be louder and maybe a deeper tone? that interesting ill have to think about that.

The only reason I can think of running like this is for more flow on the exhaust. Might kill the low end torque on a 318 (pipe diameter dependant). Would look as cool as hell though ... especially if they were turned sideways.

The member you are talking about is 01ramclassic. I think he sold the truck that had that set-up on it but he used to have some pictures and a video so you could see how loud it really was. Anyway you might PM him about that. I know that set-up might cost less but on my 318 I am very happy with the single in/dual out Flowmaster 40 series set-up that I have and I think exhause tips look badass but that just my 2 cents worth.

i have that setup with my dual exhaust. I have a true dual exhaust and it was the only way to get both pipes with the flowmaster 40 series to fit next to each other. I have pics if you are interested.

i have a 318 and i cut the cat ran a y into a 1 in 2 out flow. i had duals out the back at first but i didnt really like that so now its dumped and i love the way it sounds.
