where is the torque converter clutch solenoid located on a 97 dodge ram 4x4 ??? i have beleif that this is my problem it acts like i'm strating off in 2nd maybe 3rd gear and it about shuts off but if i shift from drive to 2nd it runs fine then back to drive when i hit about 30 mph anybody have a clue? help

 

in my 01 it was in the trans. thinking yours would be the same. Is your CEL on? Mine threw codes for it. Took it to a dealer and they found out my converter and some pump thing was bad. Charged me WAY over the total I was told. So if you have to go to a dealer get it in writing.
