I know this may sound stupid for you real mechanics BUT....
I am trying to remove the front bearing hub on a 1999 Ram 1500 4X4.
The 3 bolts are not a hex head bolt. They have more ridges than a starhead bolt. My parts store had star heads up to an E16 but this is larger, ad has more ridges.
Is it a dealer item. Does it have a name??

Should be a 12 point, just use a standard 12 point socket.
