I have seen several postings for headlight switch problems for dodge rams. I have a 94 and relplaced the switch. Worked fine for a while, then melted again....I guess the problem lies elseware. The light green lead from the switch is the one over heating and is the lead for the headlights....I am guessing a short / ground somewhere that is causing a large amp draw...strange thing is the fuse has not burnt out...any help would be greatly appreciated as I spent 4 hours on it today.
