Ya, I just locked my keys in my truck, dadgum it!! Is there anyway I can open this thing up without busting stuff up?? It's got electric locks. Am I SOL?

 

when i bought my truck, i could tell that someone had popped the sliding back glass lock! you could try that, i have never done it though. that sucks, good luck

 

Woops, sorry, I have cop buddies with complete slim jim kits, never had that probelm. Good luck. Let us know how you get it done for future referance though.

 

clothes hanger with the hook end of end.. its gonna take awhile but try getting it down threw the door jamb from the top and hooking the door handle

 

Call a wrecker company or the cops, they can usually help you out

 

suggestion for next time, make a spare key (or 2) and put one in your wallet, its probably rare that you go anywhere without it.

 

you can always punch out the window and then call insurance and say some kit throw a rock though it

Check your insurance policy. Mine will reimburse me for the cost of a locksmith. I have used it a few times on my Mustang, usually costs about $45. I have State Farm insurance.

 

My neighbor boy locked my doors one day while my engine was running before we were heading out to a fishing trip.
After seeing my quad cab wing window open, it was real easy to get a pole in to hit the electric locks.
We did try to go thru the window before and had a heck of a time...........

IF you pry back the top corner of the drivers door about 1/4 of an inch you can get through the door seal no problem...Just take a coat hanger and slide it in at the corner where the seal has a union...its a natural opening, then push the hanger down to the power locks and push---You can get into a second generation in a bout 2 minutes no problem!!!! WIthout damaging a thing!!!
