Ok so i was driving home from work tonight and i was below a quarter tank of gas so i filled my tank was runnng fine all weekend and after i filled my tank i was going good then i hit a redlight. Light turned green and i hit the gas and it just died, wouldnt start up was cranking i have oil and such but just wont start had it towed to the sts up the road. What could be wrong bad gas maybe?

 

Generally two things will cause a vehicle not to start, no fuel or no spark. If its getting up there mileage-wise I would guess its the fuel pump, a really common problem.

I would lean towards the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay then, I guess if its at the shop you outta know for sure tommorow.

 

could timing chain jumped a link and screwing up the timing?? happened to my brothers old truck.. actually the timing chain broke.... also theres a thing called the ignition module that went bad in my old truck and mine would just cut out out of nowhere.. but after a day or so it'll start back up and run fine
