Default PCV Valve Rattle

Been doing a tune-up on my '97 V-6 as the parts arrive. Replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, crankcase breather, air filter, and the PCV valve. After I started it, I heard a rattle and tracked it down to the new PCV valve. Pulled it, and there's loads of vacuum. And the valve obviously rattles, so one would think its good. I never noticed the rattle before. Put the old PCV valve back in temporarily, and listened, barely heard could hear a rattle. The new valve is back in, and I probably will never hear it in the truck, but...I don't recall ever hearing a PCV valve rattle before. I'm guessing the rattle will quiet down as it ages and gets some oil into it. Is the rattle normal?
