right now i have a ram in good shape except i got the v6 weak engine in it. 170k miles on it. i need more power, i work for my dads construction company and the v6 just doesnt have the *****, im wondering what all is involved in the engine swap after wiring harness and all and what the total cost would be for parts not labor. Wondering if anyone has done this in this truck i just need some more power.

 

It should be a rather direct swap, but you will need the wiring harness, engine mounts, and transmission for the V8. You'll also need the driveshaft. As long as you have a donor truck you can get those items from, you'll be fine.
