Default trouble getting after market parts for 01 ram

I've been looking for underdrive pulleys for my 01 RAM but cant get any. I've found one company and ordered them but my harmonic balancer has one bolt... theres had four. Also i cant find any other company but taylor that has spark plug wires for me. Is there that much of a difference between 2000 and 2001

well.. for starters the reason that pully is different is b/c its probablly for a 5.2L motor and you have a 5.9L motor,, as the 5.2 is internally ballanced and the 5.9 is externally ballanced.. so it would have a different crank pully.

other then taht.. when you post and ask for info like this.. giving us info on your motor and drivetrain might help us out.. we are good, but we arnt miracle workers... i know for a fact that MSD makes a set.. since i have them.. and DONT GET the advertised wires for your year... they wont work. if your looking for MSD wires get Part #32189... regardless of what anyone says.. summitracing has them for 72.88 right now.. when you search that site .. search exactly for "MSD 32189" and youll get what your looking for

also for that pully same place.. summitracing look up this part number ASP-501180 see if that looks like it..

id post the links but summit links dont post right

edit:: larger aftermarket wires, like the 8.5MM help big time in bling factor, and if your still running a stock coil, thats all they are gonna help with.

you're wrong. you are a miracle worker. I have the 5.9. you hit it right on the head. Sorry about that. that part number only goes up to 2000. that's why i was wondering what the difference was between 2000 and 2001 5.9's.

they will make a difference .. if you upgrade your coil and/or ignition system.. i mean if you have plans to upgrade your coil/system go ahead and get em now.. they are awesome wires.. especially when upgrade your coil.. i suggest a blaster2 coil.. from MSD.. work nice!

As far a 99.9 % of motor/ driveline parts...no difference between 2000 and 2001..or 1999 really. When my Ram was new...I had to use a number of 1999 pieces as far as tune up stuff. It helped that I'm a (retired) parts guy...but a little savy goes a long way with any part.

Oh, I run Borg Warner NASCAR wires, cap and rotor, and a MSD coil. I didn't notice any power boost, but my Champion truck plugs always look clean when I've changed 'em.
