I want to replace the chrome grille on my truck with a sport version, white of course. will they just swap fit, or would I need to swap brackets too?

I also think that I should be doing a brake job soon, i've been rolling past the lines too many times recently,. mind you that could be alot to do with my speed in the stops. anyways, what brand pads would you recommend? I dont want to go overkill, but I want to be able to stop more quickly.

I'll finish debadging the slt tags tomorrow as well.

 

I was wanting to get a sport grill too. But someone told me they was slighty larger. ttt

 

they should fit.. same hood. dont see why it would be any different.. its just plastic instead of metal and painted instead of chromed.

 

Right, or you could do what I did, buy an ebay cheapy unpainted one and paint it yourself to whatever color you desire.

To each their own schott, not sure that color combo would look right on your blue truck, but the graphite on mine does accent my black truck nicely. got pics in the gallery.

 

sometimes they wont fit, when they say its bigger, there talking about if you look at the bottom of the grill its rounded to fit the sport bumper, not flat across the bottom like the standard one. you might just have to lower the bumper alittle or something.

 

if i had to lower the bumper, i'd lift the body instead. lol.

forgot to mention, i finished debadging, I only left the 4x4 on, just for the look.
