Default found why my engine was cutting out

I was having a few issues with my engine cutting out at high speeds and when I was running about 4,000 rpm. I went under the hood and found that the plug in from my wiring harness to my coil easily separated. I had already bought the Accel ACC-140021 coil and ACC-140021AH adapter harness so I put them in. Couldn't afford the MSD6A right now.

Once I put the new coil on and tie wrapped the connection to the wiring harness no more problem. I even picked up 2 MPG. Guess that connection and/or coil was really messing with my engine.

Hope this helps others who have an intermittent miss that has been hard to locate.

yea.. it would help your MPG.. since your motor was cutting it out some of that fuel was being wasted and pumped out the exhaust.. not alot.. but residuall unburned stuff.. along with the higher voltage spark.. it would add up .. nice find!!!
