I went with APS precision. It seems to work fine a shifts very fast. Some warnings:

It took 2 months longer than promised to recieve my tranny. The guy at APS seems to really care but that is hardly an excuse. In reparation he put some extra parts in my tranny which I actually wish he didn't. I was looking for something to tow with that the future wife could also drive, which is what I bought. What I recieved was something that snaps your head back slightly when it shifts amd can cause the tires to slip a little on wet roads with little throttle. I have an automatic tranny drag car, and it shifts just as hard. Other problem is I'm getting a stacked shift where the tranny has to shift twice sometimes to get from D to OD or vice versa. Suposedly I need to adjust my throttle cable to fix this which I did and it didn't work. Then I was told by APS(Wayne) to tighten it to fix it - didn't work. I tried looser - didn't work although I was a little closer. Hopefully i can tune that out.

How much you want to spend? If you have the cash to blow, look at ATS Diesel products. I have their 5 disk torque converter and the assembly 4 tranny. They make them even tougher than mine.LOL Mostly racing/pullin applications though.

I am searching for tranny also, I think i may be going with the Viper 2 from PATC, around 2200.00 ( I really like the parts that are used in the PATC). Fastman quoted me a price of like 2600.00, but I get 700.00 back from my core, i havent set my mind on it yet........any other suggestions.

Agreed there, also its an additional 395.00 for the torque converter, and the Viper comes with my choice of welded stall speed converters, that would put the Fastman's price around 2900.00.
