Went out wheeling a few times since I got up here at school. Never really took my truck out, all this stuff is to rough to be going through with a 3" Bl only [:'(]

Place we wheeled is called the Boyscout Loop, ORV/snowmobile trails. I don't have any of the other place, 5 Mile Point but were going out there later today and I may take my truck.

These people are my housemates, the rigs are a '93 XJ with 4.5" lift and 35's that rub like a mother, soon to be a 6.5" lift also with a 8k Winch, has Posi rear open front. Yellow thing is a '75 Scout II SOA 33's Locked F&R OBAir (tank is front bumper) and OBWelder coming from a seperate 101 Amp Alt, and the CJ is SOA with reverse shackle done the day before we wnt out with 2.5" lifted springs, soon to be swaping a 400ci with a TH400 tranny, 9" rear with spool and open D44 up front. Running on 31's right now cause he ran out of cash Hes getting 40" Irok's in a few monthes.

Just got back from a place called 5 Mile Point, and was it ever interesting. One part is a big narrow sandy hill, so the kid with the Red XJ from the pics again went through a little mud pit there and we heard a clanking. Take a look and looked like just a broken front u-joint, no prob. Get out the Hi Lift, take her apart to find it snaped the inner shaft too. So this is no prob, took the inner shaft out, shoved a big sock (yes, like the one you wear on your foot) into the axle tube to keep the lube in and good to drive home Guess that dinky D30 doesn't like 35's

The beater S-10 (Baja 1000 as we call it) broke a rear brake like and it was so rusty and old that when we tried to pinch it, it just kept breaking.

The CJ broke the welds on the clutch linkage, so got out the OBWelder and fixed that, only to have it break 10 mins later.

4 rigs out, 2 back to the house, and that includes the XJ with a missing inner shaft and a sock in it. The Scout did great, sure is nice having a rig witn OBWelder and Air.

So right now theres an S 10 and a CJ sitting in the woods until we go get it with the trailer tomarrow Love it

 

Dang, guess nobody is interested in our Wheeling, probably some of the most hardcore stuff done of this forum too [:'(]

those are some sweet pictures, but i dont see any videos?? you did say videos right? anyways that red jeep is sweet lookin, and the black one, wow, looks crazy with those small tires. yea cool pictures looks like some fun trails
