Engine chugged once on start and died. Let sit over night..started and ran for about 20 minutes. Thought I heard some "ticking", started running slightly rough then died. Tried start several times but no go. Tried starter fluid-engine ran for 2-3 seconds then died. Tried again-same result only this time got ball of flame through air cleaner. Any ideas??

 

check the basic stuff first ,then check the fuel press.these electric pumps like to crap out. also check the crank sensor. stay away from the starter fluid,not good for the old 5.2
