Default Any Car and Driver Articles on a 1995 Ram?

I'd like to see what car and driver showed for stock 1/4 mile times for my 1995 1500 2wd 318 truck. Mine is so slow.

Holy crap. That 1/4 mile time can't be right. Mine is stock except for flowmasters and My fastest yet is a 17.01 @ 80.44. But it's still good info.

RM-Indy, whos is a member here and has a 96 Indy Ram that he races, best time was 15.89, with a K&N Intake. A 16.03 was what he ran when he first got it, so I don't know how experienced you are when it comes to racing, how many miles your truck has or what motor you have in your truck but your times probably arent that far off. Get a good intake like a K&N and see what happens.

When testing a 2002 Ram with a 5.9V8
Car and Driver did find that the engine 'loosened up' by 0.4 seconds
in the quarter mile after a lot of miles:

I figured it should be between 16.60 and 16.80. I think my biggest problem is my exhaust. I don't have near the back pressure that I used to have so I've lost alot of lowend torque.
