Default code P0305 help!

This code says-cylinder 5 misfire detected. I have replaced the distributor cap, rotor button, new spark plug and plug wire to cylinder # 5. The fuel injector to this cylinder seems to be working. I have used a stethescope to listen and it is clicking. Could it be clogged?
Can these be cleaned at home? I have added a heavy concentration of fuel injector cleaner to the fuel. So far it hasn't helped.
Would a clogged injector trip this code.

The best price I have found on a new injector is $46.00 at O'Reilly's auto parts. If I remove the injector and stood it up in a cup
of injector cleaner for a day or so, would that unclog it?

One other thing I have done is to place a spark tester light inbetween the spark plug and wire. While the engine ran there was a good spark, but every 5-6 seconds the spark would be much brighter. What could be the cause of this?
Thanks,
Clava

One easy way to check the injector is to swap it with a different cylinder and see if the misfire jumps
