I have a 92 w150 Ram. It is 318 5.2 L MPFI. I have a intake manifold from a 360 which I believe to be newer, perhaps second gen MPFI. The 360 intake is missing the EGR port and 4 vacuum ports and 2 sensors that the 318 intake has. Can I use this 360 intake on my Ram? Would I have to mod it or rig it somehow? Would it be worth it even?

 

I would PM the burning rom and ask him, he might know the answer to that but im gunna say no to that.

 

Not exactly positive on the year, but I believe 97 is when the 318/360 engines stopped placing the EGR on the intake manifold. Sounds like you have a newer intake. I don't think you can make it work, but like Tani1500 said - PM the BurningRom he is a wealth of information.

 

didnt know any 2gen ram with EGR.. unless its a cali emissions package..

 

Not sure about when and where 2nd Gen Rams start, was just thinking about the intakes I had looked at in the past for the 318/360. His truck is a 92 w150 RAM. Is that 1st Gen or 2nd gen?
