Thats awesome they're gonna fix it all. I doubt because there was so thermo it would cause all that, but maybe. Scan Tools sometimes have a hell of a time connecting to these PCMs for some reason. I used a Snap On one that was a few years and it would never connect, then I used a brand new one that had every feature known to man ($6,000 worth of scan tool) and it read it no problem. They're kinda picky

Default Maybe an end? - stay tuned.

Well, I am happy to report a new CAT and a thermostat seem to have fixed the problem, Sorry for the delay but i didnt want to write until i had the vehicle back and running for a week solid. I tested it hard drove it 500 miles to california and back pulling my 6,000# travele trailer and she did wonderfully. The heater still sucks a$$ but as far as surging idling and shifting wierd the thermostat and new cataletic (SP) converter seemed to be the trick.

Its really late now and i have to get ready for the races in phoenix we pull out at 1pm tomorrow and i wont be home for a week, when i get back and the truck does fine i will be convinced the problem is fixed.

on a side note, after everything i've done to the truck my I can FEEL the v10 power. tires want to spin at every stoplight again. no complaints yet (other than the heater!!)
