has anyone here ever run a newer ford or a chevy with the 327 and what was the outcome i was wondering because i have a friend with the 327 and he has 33s and 4.10 gears and i have a 2000 dodge with 37s and going to put 4.88 gears and a few mre mods and then were going to run them so how much money will i have to sink to out run him?

 

ok so i just looked at a gear ratio guide and the gear and tire combo is abouth the same mine shows about 100 rpms higher but his truck is all stock except for gears,tires, and exhaust

 

If his is the newer 5.3 chevy it's a 325 not a 327.
