I am jst doing alot of little stuff to the truck while its waiting to get fixed and I am painting the metal supports that bolt to the floor, cuz they have a little surface rust. I noticed my friends ram and someone on here said theirs are rusting. I was jst crurious how many ppl have or had this problem.

yea me too.. id sand them down first .. try and get that rust out of there and use some good rust inhibitor and some rustoleum paint.. should take care of that.. or maybe some POR15 would work too.. litle $$ for just some seat brackets.

The pedestals themselves are not rusted at all (awfully dusty though) but there's an unpainted bracket hanging under the center section that's got quite a bit of surface rust on it.

I thought it was just mine because of the leaking sunroof water/moisture problem that I waited 3 years to fix.
