Temp sensor pickup?
Alrght, my dad got me a mechanical temp sensor to throw on the truck cause I was telling him about how she would get a tad warmer than I felt comfortable when I was pulling my 4500 lb camper up some 8% grades. Now I think a bit of heat is normal under this circumstance. I have the magnum 360, and I am running 33's on stok 3.55 gears. She's gonna heat up. But since I have the gauge now it's an excuse to get my gauge pod and a tach and a tranny temp gauge for the truck. The question of this post is. Where in the world is the stock sender so I can put this one in as well. I plan on making a T-fitting so I can utilize both gauges.
If someone doesnt get to it before I do I'll get on Alldata at school and see if I can find out where it is. If I waste a minute and look under the hood of mine I can probably find the sensor and take a picture for you.
Here is the page for the manual that talks about the Coolant Temp Sensor. Hope it helps.Having trouble with the upload. Will keep trying.

Awesom, easily located, THanks silver and everyone else on this wonderful wonderful forum. Now to buy my pillar gauge pod and my trans temp and tach to go in it.....
I have a 3 gauge pillar pod in my 01 Ram and I love it. Running oil temp, tran temp, and rear differential temp gauges. Bought the pod that also had the extra place for a speaker so I could mount a low oil pressure light or switch at a later time.
