I was attempting to buy a power seat motor for my truck, I contacted the dealer for a price/availablility and was told you have to by the whole track with all three motors for $500 and some change. I called an auto dismantler and got the same info but for $350 used. What is it with Dodge not wanting to sell parts, just assemblies? Does anyone know where to get just a motor?

 

I need a motor as well. I've seen a view go on ebay, but missed the end of the auction. One sold for 20 bucks, and was the whole assembly. I'm keeping an eye out for one. If i find one though, i'll let ya know. Like i said, i'm only looking for 1 motor to replace the motor to pick the back of the seat up and down.

 

Now that is funny; I'm also look for the motor for the rear of the seat! Good thing they are all the same. Thanks for the info, please let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.

Try your local NAPA parts store. I had good luck with other motors i.e. window, wiper. Couldn't hurt to check. I would imagine that there's a # on the motor body Good luck
