I chased a misfire on my car and counted out the wires, cap & rotor, sparkplug, injector and rail so I am pretty much ready to pull the head. I was wonbdering what head do you guys recommend as a replacement and were would be the best place to purchase one. Thanks. I am in Los Angeles.
The car is a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L.

I was wondering were the missfire was, if it was between 5&7 its probably a crack between the two and is a comman problem. Any way spend the money for the RT heads. They flowed better and were more durable. Take your pick as far as where to buy, stay away from ebay unless you know what you are looking for. Jegs, Summit, AutoZone, Advance, Napa all cary standard heads for about $500.00 I just bought a set of 2.02 Magnum R/T heads from Mopar Performance for $550.00 each I didn't think that was bad, and you have to love factory warenties.
